Match It! Funds Help Youth Baseball Association

When Chris Urbanek (pictured on right) isn’t on duty as a G4S Security Officer at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, you are likely to find him putting in time on behalf of the Mishicot Indian Baseball Association. The association offers kids aged six to 14 a chance to play organized baseball.

Over the past year, Chris has been a key volunteer for the non-profit organization, putting in hundreds of hours to coach, maintain the field and reach out to local businesses to help raise more than $3,000 for field and equipment upgrades. G4S added to Chris’ efforts with a $500 matching contribution.

Match-it!The G4S Match It! Program recently met his fundraising with an additional $500 that will support a variety of research and education programs at the nonprofit weather station.

The G4S Match it! program supports employee community service efforts and the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility commitment. The program focuses corporate charitable giving on local community projects and good causes that are clearly supported by G4S employees, matching the money they raise for a charity up to $500.
