For the past three years, G4S Secure Integration has sponsored the Heart Links Open at Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
The golf tourney is a fundraising event for Misericordia, a non-profit that offers a community of care that maximizes potential for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities, many of whom are also physically challenged.
The charity offers a variety of residential options and programs on its 31-acre Chicago campus, serving more than 600 children and adults from diverse racial, religious and socio-economic backgrounds.
Since 2003, the Heart Links Open has raised more than $3.5 million to enhance the quality of life for those in need. This year, G4S Secure Integration sponsored a hole with a $1,600 contribution.
