On July 20, G4S Secure Solutions Puerto Rico was recognized as an Extraordinary Patriotic Employer by Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The event took place during a lunch ceremony at the convention center at Fort Buchanan in Guaynabo.
Brigadier General Dustin A Shultz (pictured on right) presented the award to Melba Cintron, HR Manager for G4S Puerto Rico (on left).
The ESGR’s Extraordinary Employer Support Award recognizes G4S’ sustained hiring and support of National Guard and Reserve personnel. The G4S Puerto Rico team actively participates in monthly hiring activities as part of a public-private partnership to attract Guard and Reserve personnel.

ESGR, a Department of Defense program, was established in 1972 to promote cooperation and understanding between Reserve Component Service members and their civilian employers and to assist in the resolution of conflicts arising from an employee’s military commitment.
