G4S Trinidad & American Chamber of Commerce Host Security Risks Seminar

G4S Secure Solutions (Trinidad), in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago, hosted a seminar titled Security Risks: The Changing Landscape on July 25 at the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain, Trinidad.

This event raised awareness about security risks in Trinidad & Tobago, introduced G4S’ risk-based Integrated Security Solutions approach, as well as enhanced G4S’ marketing and brand awareness.

Robert Dodge, Executive Vice President, G4S Corporate Risk Services was the featured speaker and spoke on the topic of Security Risk Management in the 21st Century. His presentation was well received as it provided practical examples and experiences as well as illustrated the depth and expertise of G4S Corporate Risk Services.

Other speakers included Robert Byrd, Regional Security Officer for the U.S. Embassy, Port of Spain, Robert Price, the Assistant Legal Attache’ of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Senior Superintendent Totaram Dookhie, Head of the Fraud Squad of the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service.

Attendees included multinational and Trinidad & Tobago companies, as well as representatives from the U.S. Embassy and Trinidad & Tobago Police Service. The event was oversubscribed as 60 attendees were targeted, however 76 attended, excluding the media. The event was covered by the local television and newspapers.
