The latest recipient of a Match It! Award is Nicole Sandell, a Custom Protection Officer with G4S Secure Solutions (USA) in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Nicole helped raise $1,386 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, holding yard sales and soliciting family, friends and co-workers on behalf of her mom, who just last year won a battle with breast cancer.
The G4S Match It! Campaign matched her fundraising with a $500 contribution to the charity.
Since 2013, the G4S Match It! Campaign has encouraged employees to become involved in their local community by matching the money they raise for a charity, up to $500. Since the campaign launched, G4S has contributed more than $38,000 to charities supported by our employees. Year-to-date, G4S has awarded $4,225 in matching funds.
