Standing post at a client’s location means not only protecting the facility, but also those who are there. When G4S Security Officer Isaac Saldana was on duty, a woman’s young child suddenly stopped breathing and turned blue. Officer Saldana immediately grabbed the child and began performing emergency procedure and dislodged a piece of food that blocked the child’s airway. When Officer Saldana was congratulated on his work, he simply said, “It was part of my job.”
